The core of our business is provided through our network of mobile maintenance engineers. Field Engineering teams are highly skilled and multi-disciplined, trained to the highest industry standards to recognise and respond to the challenges posed by the complexities of modern building services. Ongoing investment in new technology keeps ECG FS ahead of the competition and has ensured that our response times continue to improve and shorten. A strategic network of UK offices and field engineers ensure that we can respond in many cases within 1 hour of the call being logged through our national "help desk" operating a highly efficient mobile communications system, utilising the latest pda and computer technology developed in partnership with our service provider. Our extensive fleet of vehicles are fully equipped with the specialist tools and equipment needed to ensure a quick turnaround on the repair of essential plant, minimising downtime and loss of service. Where the nature or size of a building requires on-site cover, a manned site alternative to mobile coverage can be provided. This may be limited to a single resident engineer on a smaller site, or might extend to a team of dedicated engineers providing cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Site based maintenance contracts with ECG FS have the full back-up of our mobile response teams who provide essential emergency support to the on-site engineers on demand. The purpose of Achilles is to provide assessment criteria that health and safety professionals can apply to the health and safety element of a select list application. The scheme assess adequacy and compliance of the health and safety policy statement, organisation for health and safety and specific arrangements to a single, common standard. Selecting contractors who have demonstrated these standards goes some way to ensuring, so far is reasonably practicable, compliance with health and safety law. |
